“Let’s see if we can get to 500 or something,” was Kansas City Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes' response after becoming the youngest player in NFL history to throw 250 touchdown passes.

Mahomes wants to win for accolades with the team

The milestone came Sunday evening when Mahomes found running back Isiah Pacheco for an eight-yard score to put the Kansas City Chiefs up 20-7 over the Baltimore Ravens. Kansas City went on to win 37-20 behind four Mahomes touchdown passes — his most in a game since Week 7 of the 2023 season.

“It is easy to forget that I have an amazing team beside me. That is what makes it easier for me to keep going,” Mahomes said. “I am surrounded by winners.”
