Doris Aleman-Bonilla pleaded guilty to a lesser immigration charge Monday in federal court in Syracuse, taking a plea deal before the U.S. government started its third trial on felony charges.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection accused Aleman-Bonilla, of Honduras, of entering the country illegally, a felony, after a traffic stop in April near Fulton, where she lived with her husband and two children.
