Stellantis announced that its chief financial officer, Doug Oosterman, has resigned.

In his stead will be Joao Laranjo, who has spent more than a decade with Stellantis and its affiliated companies.

Laranjo will be tasked with the directing finances as the company attempts to revert sliding sales and poor economic performance.

Stellantis' financial chief, Doug Oosterman, has stepped down, the company announced Monday, Sept. 29.

Oosterman, who has been with Stellantis-affiliated companies since 2016, "resigned from the company for personal reasons," according to a statement from the automaker. A now-deleted profile for Oosterman on Stellantis' website says the former CFO oversaw the company's finances and strategy in China and directed global business development for Fiat Chrysler Autom
