CLEVELAND (WJW) – While Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski is ready to move forward, he is not doing it without dodging loads of questions about who will be the starting quarterback on Sunday.
Cleveland’s loss at Detroit was a bad game by the numbers for Joe Flacco.
He finished 16 of 34 for 184 yards with three turnovers. Rookie Dillon Gabriel, a third-round pick, replaced Flacco late in the game.
Here’s what Stefanski said Sunday night in response to questions about whether to bench the veteran quarterback. • DETROIT,MICHIGAN-SEPTEMBER 28: Cleveland Browns quarterback Joe Flacco #15 calls a play during the second half of an NFL football game between the Cleveland Browns and the Detroit Lions in Detroit, Michigan USA, on Sunday, September 28, 2025 (Photo by Jorge Lemus/NurPho
