KISSIMMEE, Fla. – A Kissimmee man remains frightened after what he described as a road‑rage incident over the weekend.

The incident happened on Saturday around 9:40 a.m. in which a gunman fired at the man’s vehicle as he merged onto the Florida’s Turnpike, authorities said.

Luis, who asked that his last name not be released because he remains fearful, told News 6 that the incident occurred close to his home while he was on his way to a store. He said another car cut him off as he entered the Turnpike near Cross Prairie at mile marker 244, and that a passenger in the other vehicle pointed a gun and fired at him.

“The police said that if the back of my head was two inches further back, I would have probably died at that moment,” Luis said. “I was scared. I was shocked. I moved lanes.
