Jammu, Sep 29: The Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha Monday asserted that J&K’s sustainable urban planning and execution on the ground was a bold roadmap for future cities.

Referring to Tawi riverfront acting as a protective shield for Jammu city during recent natural disasters, he also exhorted the government departments and agencies to adopt sustainable practices and strictly enforce environmental regulations to create a smart urban ecosystem.

LG Sinha was addressing the gathering during ‘Sewa Parv’ celebrations organised by Housing and Urban Development Department (HUDD) here.
