Missouri basketball reportedly has signed a contract to play in the Players Era Festival Men's Championship in November 2026, a midseason tournament that offers lucrative NIL incentives for participating teams.
The tournament, which will be in its third edition when the Tigers are set to participate next year, is expected to be held throughout the opening weeks of the 2026-27 season.
The news was first reported by Matt Norlander of CBS Sports. He also reported that Louisville, Miami, Florida, Ohio State and Virginia have signed up for the 2026 event, which organizers seemingly are keen on making a 32-team event. The contracts for Mizzou and the others appear to be four-year participation deals, per his reporting.
