ALLEN PARK -- Detroit Lions coach Dan Campbell provided an injury update on starting cornerbacks Terrion Arnold and D.J. Reed. While the news isn’t great, it’s better than what fans initially feared.

During Detroit’s 34-10 Week 4 victory Sunday over the Cleveland Browns, both players exited in the second half. Arnold left in the third quarter with what appeared to be a right arm injury. He held his arm with his left hand as he walked off the field, but after the game he moved freely in the locker room.

As for Reed, with 13:56 left in regulation he suffered a hamstring injury while breaking up a pass intended for receiver Jerry Jeudy. The injury was severe enough that the veteran defender was visibly in pain, and the medical cart was brought out immediately to take him off the field.
