A pedestrian was killed late Sunday morning after running into traffic on Interstate 205 north of 119th Street in Clark County, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The identity of the person killed in the crash has not been released pending notification of the family.
According to a state patrol crash memo, Brenden O. Kealy of Hoodsport was southbound on I-205, south of the Interstate 5 split, about 11:30 p.m. in a 2005 Chevy Silverado. The pedestrian ran into the freeway from the right shoulder and was struck. The pedestrian died at the scene.
Neither Brenden Kealy, 56, or passenger Mendy Kealy, 52, also of Hoodsport, were injured. Both were wearing seat belts.
