BIRMINGHAM, Ala. —
Nick Saban said Monday that while he misses the weekly rhythm of coaching, he is proud of the community work tied to his legacy and impressed with the state of the game across the SEC.
Speaking about the charitable work that has continued since his retirement, Saban highlighted efforts such as supporting Children’s of Alabama and building a learning center for kids.
“That’s the legacy we want to leave behind in Alabama,” he said.
Saban praised Alabama’s recent victory over Georgia , pointing to resilience and execution. He credited head coach Kalen DeBoer and his staff for developing consistency.
“They showed great resiliency in this game at Georgia,” Saban said. “The staff has done a really good job.”
