New Haven, N.Y. ― A 60-year-old motorcyclist died after colliding Friday with a pick-up truck in Oswego County.
Jerry Davis, of Palermo, was pronounced dead at Upstate University Hospital, according to a news release from the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office issued Monday.
Around 5:31 p.m. Friday, Davis was riding a 2017 Harley-Davidson Road Glide west on Route 1 in New Haven, deputies said.
A 2018 Chevrolet Silverado traveling north from Mack Road onto Pleasant Point Drive struck Davis’ motorcycle in the intersection, deputies said.
The driver, 24-year-old Dylan Mannise, sustained minor injuries.
Davis was first taken to Oswego Hospital before he was transferred to Upstate University Hospital where he died.
The crash is still under investigation.
