EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP — Police arrested a man after he allegedly waved a gun and threatened to commit murder Friday night in the drive-thru of a McDonalds on the Black Horse Pike.

Wilmar Perez-Velasquez was charged with weapons offenses and driving while intoxicated. He was sent to the Atlantic County jail.

Police responded to the McDonalds at 8:37 p.m. and pursued the suspect vehicle to Pleasantville, police said, adding a female was reported to be unconscious inside the vehicle.

Police said they found a firearm and ammunition inside the vehicle.
