The Warriors officially brought back a familiar face for the 2025-26 NBA season and appear on track to reunite with another.

Golden State has re-signed guard Gary Payton II , the team announced Monday.

The Warriors also signed rookie guard Will Richard, the No. 56 overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, the team announced Monday. The deal is a four-year contract with two years fully guaranteed, Charania reported Sunday, citing Richard's agents.
