Any concerns of Aidan Hutchinson’s return from a significant leg injury are well and truly in the past and now the discussion turns to whether the 2023 Pro Bowler is already a frontrunner for Defensive Player of the Year.
Hutchinson continued his comeback season in the Detroit Lions’ 34-10 victory over the Cleveland Browns on Sunday with four tackles, two sacks and a forced fumble as part of an overwhelming defensive performance.
Another strip sack of quarterback Joe Flacco was called back due to a penalty away from Hutchinson, otherwise he would’ve had his third for the year and hold sole possession of second in the NFL behind Joey Bosa.
Instead he’ll settle for a 92.6 Pro Football Focus grade in Week 4 and a 94.2 pass rushing grade after accumulating seven pressures on Flacco alongs
