Steven Fletcher has confirmed his retirement and admitted playing for Scotland was one of his greatest honours. ‌

Record Sport broke the story earlier this week that the 38-year-old, who won 33 caps, had decided to hang up his boots. ‌

Hibs , where he had started his career, tried to get him to return for one final swan song but he decided enough was enough after leaving Wrexham. ‌

Fletcher said: "Every club has shaped me and given me memories I'll never forget"
