Arlie J. Perryman, the 43-year-old Hidden Valley man who fled a Maricopa police stakeout last month and was the subject of a weeks-long search, has died while still on the run.

The Pinal County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed Perryman’s death occurred Thursday in Maricopa. No cause or manner of death has been determined.

“The postmortem examination has not yet been completed,” André A. Davis, operations division manager for the medical examiner’s office, told InMaricopa today. “I can confirm that the death occurred in Maricopa; however, this is the limit of the information I am authorized to release at this time.”
