LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – An event to support artists with disabilities is set for Little Rock this Wednesday.

Department of Human Services officials said nearly 20 vendors and six food trucks will line the streets in downtown Little Rock from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 7th and Main for the 9th Annual Fall Food & Craft Fair from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Handmade items created by artists with intellectual and developmental disabilities from across the state, who are served by the DHS’s Division of Developmental Disabilities Services (DDS), will be available for purchase. These items include rugs, magnets, artwork, wreaths, and more, which are also sold year-round in DHS’s in-house store, The Blue Umbrella.

All proceeds go to the artists who make the items, officials said.
