A Pennsylvania man charged with following a man home from the casino and killing him has been acquitted of first-degree murder.

Jekai Reid-John, 27, of Norristown, was arrested in 2021 in connection with the death of 54-year-old Sree Aravapelli in New Jersey .

Aravapelli was found inside his home in Plainsboro Township, New Jersey, on Oct. 26, 2021, with multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead after transport to a local hospital.

At the time, authorities said casino surveillance footage showed two people around Aravapelli in the Parx Casino in Bensalem. One of the people used a debit-card associated with Reid-John.

After Aravapalli cashed in his $10,000 winnings, he went to his New Jersey home.
