Kevin Thomson reckons Hibs would love to burst the Hearts hype balloon on Saturday - and make a bold statement about their own season. ‌

The Hibees, who finished third in 2024/25, are also unbeaten in the Premiership. ‌

Five of their six games have been draws, including Saturday’s stalemate at Celtic Park. ‌

Hearts have hogged the domestic spotlight by setting the title pace, while Hibs had Euro distractions last month.

Yet Thomson is sure his former club retain similar Premiership ambitions as their city rivals.
