Authorities confirmed that the Grand Blanc Township church shooter had loaded his pickup truck with four crude IEDs made of consumer fireworks and smoke canisters.

The shooter crashed the truck into the church, opened fire with a rifle, and used gasoline to start the fire that ultimately killed two people and injured several others.

The shooter was killed by a responding Department of Natural Resources officer eight minutes after the initial 911 call, ending the attack that left four people dead.
