LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Officials with the Little Rock Police Department and the Department of Housing and Neighborhood Programs said plans are in place for the National Night Out in the city.

National Night Out will take place with simultaneous events in communities throughout the city from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 7. Officials said it is a great opportunity to mingle with the neighbors and speak with city leaders and first responders about community needs.

Officials promise fun, food, prizes and more at the four locations of MacArthur Park, 1000 McMath Drive, Southwest Community Center, 6401 Baseline Road, War Memorial Park, 1 Stadium Drive and the West Central Community Center, 8616 Colonel Glenn Road.

Local neighborhood associations may also be hosting events, officials said.
