HAMILTON COUNTY, Texas — National Night Out 2025 in Hamilton County has been canceled, the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office has announced.

According to the Sheriff's Office, the event has been canceled due to "recent events."

The Sheriff's Office said those who donated to the National Night Out event can contact the office and their donation will be returned. The Sheriff's Office can be contacted at 254-386-8120.

"We truly appreciate the support from our community and everyone who donated," the Sheriff's Office said in an announcement. "We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and thank you for your understanding. We look forward to coming back next year with a bigger and better event!"
