SERGEANT BLUFF, Iowa (KTIV) - A crash on Interstate 29 delayed southbound traffic for several hours.

The crash happened just south of Sergeant Bluff, Iowa at around 2:30 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 29. Iowa 511 cameras showed several vehicles were involved in the crash, but no further details are confirmed at this time.

As responders cleared the crash, located near the Sergeant Bluff Rest area, officials had to direct southbound traffic around where they were working. By 5:10 p.m., the road was cleared and traffic resumed as normal.

At times, traffic was backed up for over a mile on I-29.
