OMAHA, Neb. —

Sites around Omaha turned into works of art in 1996.

Area artists drew pictures of different spots throughout the city, and they were made available in vending machines.

Omaha residents could find the machines, similar to a bubblegum machine, at various stores.

"It's a fun way to explore art in a different way rather than a traditional going to see it in a museum. It's coming to see you," said one Omaha resident.
