Kaidon Salter now near a meltdown after latest Colorado loss?

Colorado quarterback Kaidon Salter isn’t backing down from criticism after the Buffaloes’ latest setback.

The transfer from Liberty started strong Saturday night, helping Colorado build a 14-0 lead over No. 25 BYU. But the momentum didn’t last. Salter finished 11-for-16 with 119 yards, two touchdowns and a late interception as the Cougars rallied for a 24-21 win at Folsom Field.

In his postgame remarks, Salter admitted he pressed too often. “We just have to be more disciplined,” he said. “I gotta take what they give me and take the easy throws, just keep working on the scramble drill when plays break down.”
