LANHAM, MD – Two lucky Marylanders walked away with $100,000 prizes this week, capping off a winning streak that saw nearly $29.3 million in total lottery payouts across the state between Sept. 22 and Saturday. One winner struck gold on a WILLY WONKA AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY™ FAST PLAY ticket in Lanham, while another claimed a six-figure prize in Temple Hills on a $100,000 Crossword scratch-off.
The Lanham ticket was sold at a 7-Eleven on Good Luck Road on Saturday, while the Temple Hills win came earlier in the week from Modern Liquors on Iverson Street. Both tickets were part of the top-tier prize pool among 21 Maryland Lottery wins worth $10,000 or more during the seven-day period.
