ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – One of the men tied to a shooting that left a 16-year-old boy dead four years ago was sentenced on Monday. Police said Francisco Rodriguez and five others fired more than 200 rounds at an apartment in southeast Albuquerque, while there was a party. Gabriel Garcia was killed. Police found a group chat with the suspects taking credit for the shooting.
Last month, Rodriguez pled guilty to conspiracy to commit murder and conspiracy to shoot an occupied building. Judge Cindy Leos sentenced him to 10 years behind bars.
