Dallas Cowboys' CeeDee Lamb and Tyler Booker get positive injury updates

The Dallas Cowboys offered a pair of positive injury updates on wide receiver CeeDee Lamb and right guard Tyler Booker.

Both players suffered a high-ankle sprain in the Week 3 loss to the Chicago Bears and are expected to miss multiple weeks with their ailments. Their first missed contest came in Week 4 against the Green Bay Packers .

However, the good news is, both players are expected to avoid injured reserve, head coach Brian Schottenheimer said. Adding to that, Booker has shed his walking boot.

Brian Schottenheimer said the Cowboys don’t anticipate putting CeeDee Lamb or Tyler Booker on IR, “but we reserve the right to change our mind.” Booker is out of the protective boot. — To
