A boat was capsized by large whitecaps Saturday morning in the Palisades Reservoir, throwing three people into the frigid mountain water.

Sgt. Bryan Lovell, Bonneville County Sheriff's spokesman, said the call about the incident was received at about 9:50 a.m. Saturday. All three unnamed occupants of the boat were wearing life jackets.
