SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- The San Diego Housing Commission (SDHC) received two awards recognizing its positive contributions to the community.
Programs to help families displaced from their homes in January 2024 due to flooding, as well as a community garden that allows low-income seniors access to fresh fruits and vegetables, earned the SDHC two Awards of Merit from the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials (NAHRO).
“These honors reflect our ongoing focus on the people in our community and our commitment to collaborate with a variety of partners to achieve positive results,” SDHC President and CEO Lisa Jones said.
