BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - The attorney representing the family of Southern University student and Omega Psi Phi fraternity pledge Caleb Wilson said the university, fraternity, and individuals involved in Wilson’s death have blood on their hands.

Monday, the East Baton Rouge Parish Coroner ruled Wilson’s cause of death was a homicide. Specifically, the coroner cited Commotio cordis as the cause. The illness occurs when the heart stops suddenly due to a blow to the chest.

On Friday, Rob Marionneaux filed a lawsuit against Southern University and 16 other individuals and entities. Monday, he spoke about it for the first time saying this lawsuit is not about money.
