Josh Hartnett is on the mend after a car crash in Canada.

The Trap star was briefly hospitalized after a vehicle he was riding in collided with a police patrol car in St. John's, Newfoundland, his rep confirmed to Page Six .

The incident happened in the early morning hours of Sept. 25, per the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary . While both the SUV—which was driven by an unidentified 59-year-old man—and the patrol car sustained "significant damage," authorities said the driver and his passenger were hospitalized for "what is believed to be minor injuries," while the officer involved in the crash was taken to a local medical center as a precaution.
