Eline Van der Velden , the creator of the actress and CEO of AI-centered production company Particle 6, issued a statement on social media after getting criticism from social media users and real-life actors alike once news broke that talent agents were reportedly looking to sign the character.

“To those who have expressed anger over the creation of our Al character, Tilly Norwood : she is not a replacement for a human being, but a creative work – a piece of art. Like many forms of art before her, she sparks conversation, and that in itself shows the power of creativity,” the statement began.
