Glendale police sought the public’s help Monday in locating a suspect in a possible hate crime involving the vandalism of public and private property with swastikas.

Officers responded around 8 a.m. Sunday to the Adams Hill community of South Glendale regarding reports of hate symbols, with one victim reporting that a swastika had been drawn in their driveway overnight, according to the Glendale Police Department.

Officers canvassed the area and found additional chalk-drawn swastikas on both private and public property.

That same day, around 7:30 p.m., officers were dispatched to another location in the 800 block of East Palmer Avenue, where a swastika was discovered on a fire hydrant.
