ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Monday marks one year since the BioLab fire in Conyers.

The potentially toxic plumes of smoke covered several Metro Atlanta communities.

“The cloud was like as close as I am to you over my building,” said Keith Caesar. “The smell, the smoke was coming through the vents from the A/C, and we didn’t know what it was. We didn’t think nothing of it until we saw everyone looking up.”

That’s when Caesar, owner of Best 4 Less Furniture and Mattress Discount, said he saw the cloud of smoke right on top of them.
