ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - An off-duty Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office deputy was found dead Saturday night, authorities say.
According to the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office, the deputy’s teenage son showed up to his neighbor’s home just before 8 p.m., bleeding and explained that his mother and her boyfriend were arguing, with the boyfriend shooting a gun inside the home.
The teenager was taken to a local hospital for multiple gunshot wounds and is listed in stable condition, according to police.
