The California State University System, the largest four-year university system in the nation, is now the target of a Trump administration investigation into alleged antisemitism.
The investigation largely stems from a series of pro-Palestinian protests on CSU campuses over the past two years.
A CSU spokesperson said a complaint was filed by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
The office of the CSU system's chancellor released a statement that read, in part, "the CSU will fully cooperate with the EEOC during its investigative review. The CSU unequivocally condemns antisemitism and continues to comply with longstanding federal and state anti-discrimination laws as well as CSU policies."
