Three area football teams had a Homecoming game Friday night, and they all won.

Lompoc routed Kern Valley 42-10, Santa Ynez blanked Santa Maria 41-0 and Nipomo pulled a 33-25 upset against Arroyo Grande, the No. 2 ranked Central Coast Athletic Association (CCAA) football team going in.

CCAA teams will open league play this week.

Reigning Times All-Area Football Team MVP Nick Evans rushed for 181 yards and two touchdowns as the Titans (3-3) made their Homecoming a happy one and became playoff eligible in the process.
