Jay Cutler is behind bars.

On Monday (September 29), the 42-year-old former NFL player was booked into the Williams County Jail in Tennessee around 8am PT to begin serving his jail sentence in his DUI case, according to TMZ .

Nearly one year ago, Jay was arrested in October 2024 for DUI and was also charged with gun possession.

After pleading guilty to one count of misdemeanor DUI last month, Jay was ordered to spend four days in jail . In addition, he was ordered to pay a $350 fine, has been placed on supervised probation for a year, and was ordered to attend a DUI safety class. His Tennessee license has also been revoked for a year.

Jay is expected to be released from jail on Friday, October 4.
