Lewis Hamilton is mourning the death of his beloved dog, Roscoe, following a battle with pneumonia.
Hamilton had missed a Pirelli tyre test last week to be by Roscoe’s side after the dog was admitted to the hospital and placed in a coma.
On Monday, the Formula 1 driver shared an emotional social media post, confirming that Roscoe had passed away in his arms on Sunday evening.
The news comes five years after Hamilton’s other dog, Coco, also passed away.
“After four days on life support, fighting with every bit of strength he had, I had to make the hardest decision of my life and say goodbye to Roscoe,” wrote Hamilton. “He never stopped fighting, right until the very end.
“I feel so grateful and honoured to have shared my life with such a beautiful soul, an angel and true friend. Bringi
