SPOKANE, Wash. — The Spokane Regional Health District faces another shift in leadership after officials say their Administrative Officer, Dr. Alicia Thompson, has resigned.

On September 18th, the Spokane County Board of Health approved an employee separation agreement for Dr. Alicia Thompson, according to a statement sent from a Spokane Regional Health District spokesperson.

In 2022, Amelia Clark resigned from the same role after a state investigation found that she violated state law in the process of the removal of public health officer Dr. Bob Lutz in 2020.

SRHD said it cannot comment on the reason for the resignation, but released the following statement:
