Health and Human Services Secretary Robert Kennedy's "Make America Healthy Again" strategy has merits, such as wanting the health effects of pesticides and processed foods to be studied and, if necessary, strictly regulated.

When it comes to vaccines, however, KOAT health expert Abinash Achrekar, M.D., better known as Dr. Ash, strongly suggests that the findings of nonpartisan medical authorities shouldn't be dismissed without careful consideration.

"Vaccines prevent deadly diseases and protect children," Dr. Ash said. "Everyone from the World Health Organization to the Centers for Disease Control to the American Academy of Pediatrics all confirmed vaccines are safe and effective. Casting doubt can make people refuse to get vaccines, which leads to outbreaks and more preventable disease.
