Metal powerhouse Avenged Sevenfold has postponed their 2025 Latin American tour after frontman M. Shadows was diagnosed with a vocal fold hematoma.
The band announced the decision on Friday through their social media channels , promising to reschedule the shows for January 2026.
“Got some discouraging news, gonna have to postpone the Latin America tour. Got my voice in some sort of trouble,” Shadows explained in a nearly three-minute video accompanying the band’s official statement.
The 44-year-old vocalist revealed that after performing at the Louder Than Life festival, he initially thought he was just experiencing fatigue from “travel, the schedule, etcetera.”
When his condition did not improve in Argentina, Shadows consulted a doctor who diagnosed a hematoma on his left vocal fold
