SEATTLE — A man was hit and killed along Aurora Avenue North in Seattle on Monday night, according to the Seattle Police Department (SPD).
The 5900 block of Aurora Avenue North was closed in both directions after the fatal crash, SPD said. All lanes of traffic reopened just before 10 p.m.
The victim is a 63-year-old man. Officials said he was hit by a driver while running across the street. They said the driver, a 27-year-old woman, had no signs of impairment and is cooperating with investigators.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
