Around 8 p.m., MPD responded to a solo motorcycle crash solo motorcycle crash near the intersection of Briggsmore Avenue and Coffee Road.

"Sadly, the rider has succumbed to their injuries," MPD said. "Eastbound Briggsmore Avenue, between Sunrise Avenue and Coffee Road, will remain closed for the foreseeable future while officers investigate."
