County clerk systems down across Tennessee, according to Wanda Halbert

SHELBY COUNTY, Tenn. - County clerk systems across Tennessee were down down Monday morning, according to Shelby County Clerk Wanda Halbert.

Halbert made the announcement just before 8:30 a.m. in a Facebook post, adding that it was an "awkward way to start a work week."

She did not immediately provide when the systems would return to normal but said, "This is usually nothing that stays down long." She added that "we will immediately notify the public when the systems are back up."
