Saeed Ajmal has made a shocking allegation, stating that cheques of PKR (Pakistan Rupees) 25 lakh bounced right after they were given to the Pakistan National Cricket Team after they won the 2009 T20 World Cup in England. Pakistan defeated Sri Lanka to win the second edition of the ICC T20 World Cup in 2009 in London. Saeed Ajmal claimed that they were given cheques of Rs 25 lakh by the then Pakistan Prime Minister, Yusuf Raza Gilani. But much to their dismay, they bounced. Saeed Ajmal had originally made this allegation in a 2023 podcast and four months ago spoke about it in another interview.
