Accenture posted a 7 per cent increase in full-year revenues to USD 69.7 billion.

Accenture has laid off more than 11,000 employees worldwide over the past three months. Confirming the same, CEO Julie Sweet stated that the company is rapidly “exiting” staff who cannot be retrained for artificial intelligence roles. The layoffs began earlier this year and are expected to continue until November 2025.

The company is evolving Accenture’s workforce towards AI-driven services and capabilities. Sweet explained that reskilling was not a viable path for every employee, and positions misaligned with the company’s future needs are being cut on an accelerated timeline.
