Coronation Street star Jack P Shepherd told fans 'finally' as he was awarded a major boost, with his co-stars quick to show support.

The actor, famed for playing David Platt in the ITV soap, was recently heard addressing missing out on the latest gong he had been nominated for at the National Television Awards.

The 37-year-old was shortlisted at the 2025 ceremony, which took place earlier in September, in the serial drama performance category after a dramatic year for David on the cobbles.
