Shirley Ballas has said she doesn't think she was "put on Planet Earth" to have a relationship as she claimed she "got what she deserved".

The Strictly Come Dancing star - who was previously married to fellow dancers Sammy Stopford and Corky Ballas, the father of her son Mark, and ended her engagement to Danny Taylor last year - has given up on finding love.

Shirley has blamed her commitment to her career for all her past relationships ending in "disaster". Speaking to Paul C. Brunson on his We Need to Talk podcast, she said: "I’m obsessed with what I am and with what I do.
